We may have our very first look at some official concept or promotional artwork from Adam Wingard's Godzilla vs. Kong (2020)! A group photo of those involved with the film's production in Hawaii was shared to Twitter recently and in the photo, the group are holding a massive clapper board with Oahu, 2018 written across the top followed by filming locations. Beneath the standard clapper board is a banner showcasing King Kong attacking Godzilla! Check it out:
This may be official concept art, or a special promotional image created specifically for this clapper board banner. We're uncertain as to what exactly the image is, but what we do know is that it is an official piece of material used to represent Godzilla vs. Kong's filming.
Also - LOOK AT HOW BIG KONG IS! Yes, to silence the remaining folks out there who were skeptical of how big Kong would be in this movie, you can see he is definitely on par with Godzilla's size. This will be one hell of a fight.

Well, he would have to be of comparable size to Godzilla for there to be a worthwhile fight, right? Otherwise, there will be no contest and people aren't interested in paying to see a one-sided smack down.
I think Kong is a bit shorter than Godzilla, and is on the top of something or jumping. I'm definitely not complaining though, as I wanted Kong to be a bit shorter than Godzilla (I wanted him to be 312 feet tall to be exact), and he looks pretty similar to the size I imagined him to be as an adult.
Yep, he's definitely big enough to fight Godzilla lol I don't know if i'm sold yet on the title "Godzilla vs Kong". Just doesn't sound as good as King Kong vs Godzilla, but oh well. A title is just a title.
King Kong ain't got **** on Godzilla no matter how big he gets. Granted Kong is a mighty kaiju but in the end he will beg to kneel before our holy majesty God Lizard! Godzilla is gonna kick Kong's ass! Godzilla is King!
What's this crap about this being the "Final Installment in the Monsterverse Quadrilogy"? Whoever wrote this needs to slow their roll, we have no idea what's gonna happen after 2020. Stop declaring the Monsterverse dead before its 2 biggest movies have their shot at the box office. With GKotM's trailers being so incredible, who knows, it, GvsK, or both could become a phenomenon, make $750M to a billion at the box office, and sell a metric f**k-ton of merchandise. If anything close to that happens, or they both just make the $400M to $500M the first two made, then Warner Bros will make more. Toho might be doing their shared universe once the deal ends, but they'll still make deals with WB if they make good money off of these two. So, a deal maybe struck where we will see less Godzilla, or just after a certain time period. Or possibly they(WB) create a MechaGodzilla and use Toho monsters that Toho has no plans for, as well as original kaiju, and between them, Mecha, & Kong, we may not see Godzilla himself return till a few movies later in a DestroyAllMonsters-like film. I'm just spit-balling here but either way, if the next 2 succeed, there will be a new deal, and we will see more Monsterverse. WB won't let a cash cow slip thru their fingers bc of rights. They are huge by comparison to Toho, and money talks, and it's all just free money to Toho, only costing them shifts to their development & release schedule. I personally hope the Monsterverse goes the Monarch MechaGodzilla route next, followed by a Kong sequel, to give Toho their chance to get their shared universe off the ground. Then depending on how those do, who knows what could happen? Then I think we actually could have a problem between Toho & WB and see a final film come about, or the Toho films only come out on video in America. But Toho can make their movies a lot faster, so hopefully they'll just be able to work around each other's schedules. This went on way too long, but the main point is wait and see, don't declare the Monsterverse dead yet. If GKotM is terrible and performs badly, then we can talk.
Guys, plz stop acting like this is gonna be real fight. "He will beg to kneel before our Holy Majesty God Lizard", C'mon.. it's a movie, Kong will be a formidable opponent, bc it will be written that way. It doesn't matter how much more powerful Godzilla is considered to be, there's a story around the big fight, they are 2 good guy mythical Earth protectors. So surely there will be some larger threat, and Kong will not be written like a ***** to be slapped down by the God Lizard King. They'll be written pretty much as equals, and rightfully so. They're both icons.
