Winter of 2017 revealed that Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) and Kyle Chandler (King Kong [2005], Super 8 [2011]) would lead the cast of Godzilla: King of the Monsters directed by Michael Dougherty. The movie isn't due until next May, but news of returning cast members are already swarming around Godzilla vs. Kong.
A recent report included Zhang Ziyi as a returning actress in director Adam Wingard's 2020 battle of kings. Now, via The Hashtag Show, Brown and Chandler will reportedly return for Godzilla's next match--This time against King Kong.
The outlet also reports two-time Academy Award Winning Frances McDormand (Fargo [1997], Two Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri [2017]) has been tapped for a lead role.

Godzilla vs. Kong will also star Zhang Ziyi (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2) and Van Marten (Avengers: Infinity War). The film is directed by Adam Wingard based on a writers room story led by Terry Rossio. Alex Garcia is producing.
