This goes for which actor they should be and what they do. I quite like the idea of Godzilla chasers from Godzilla 2000. People who follow Godzilla to study him for Monarch and to keep visuales on him. Who should play these characters? I have no idea. Jackie Chan! Seriously though, what are your ideas? We have 4 years so we can speculate until Legendary reveals what they are going to do.

MemberGodzillaSep-21-2014 4:31 PMMECHA RODAN - I'd actually like to see Sam Worthington in a role within the next Godzilla film. I believe he could bring a very human element to the story without needing a great deal of exposition. As for what role he'd play: I believe an ex-military specialist - perhhaps a biologist or chemist - would be fitting. He'd need to be a lone-wolf though; no family or friends. Additionally, he'd need to have some form of either hatred or respect for Godzilla - perhaps born of a close encounter with the beast! :)

He was by far the most interesting character in the last movie (besides Joe Brody) and I don't really see how Ford could add much more to the plot. Admiral Stenz and Dr. Graham could also return from the previous film. Of course there will be new characters introduced as well, possibly more members of Monarch or something.
