Powers/Weapons: Has two Type 90 Maser Cannons in mouth; able to morph his right hand into a drill; rocket boosters that enable limited flying; Hyper Maser contained in Kiryu's chest that fires off three maser blasts

Weakness: Powered by a quinisential DNA computer that may cause Kiryu's "Godzilla side" to take over when Godzilla is placed in danger

Fight...

The alarm in the G-Force went off. Varan was in Osaka, and was approaching downtown. “Alright, boys, we got another monster to add to our collection. Activate Kiryu, and take this Kaiju to Monster Island!” said the G-Force commander.

     In the compound where Kiryu was held, soldiers and engineers were running around preparing Kiryu for battle. Yoshita Chujo and his team climbed into Kiryu and began to run systems checks. After that was done Yoshita said, “Alright boys,” Akane Yashiro cleared throat. “And girls, let’s go get this monster!” As he said this Kiryu’s eyes turned on.

     Meanwhile in Osaka, Varan was destroying downtown. As his was destroying a very large building, whipping it with his tail. From behind him, Masers shot at Varan, angering him. He turned his head around, lifted his tail and smashed the Maser. He charged the building in front and started raking it with his claws. A lightning beam hit him in the back again. Varan turned around, expecting a Maser, but instead found a robotic copy of Godzilla. Varan was in shock. The robotic reptile was much taller than Varan. Also a lot more armored.

    “Okay, this seems to be quick on its feet, so we have to be careful.” Yoshita said. Just after he finished saying this, Varan whipped around and smacked Kiryu in the head with his tail. “I told you,” Yoshita said. Varan took advantage of Kiryu’s disorientation, and tackled him. Varan knocked Kiryu down and jumped on top of Kiryu, and started to beat Kiryu with his claws. Kiryu knocked Varan off and sent him flying into a nearby building. Kiryu got up and transformed his right hand into a drill.

     Kiryu slowly approached the building where he threw him. Kiryu got to the building and look around at it. Kiryu couldn’t see Varan anywhere. Suddenly, from behind Kiryu, came Varan, flying from the sky and tackled Kiryu. Kiryu was down, his mechanical face in the dirt. Varan started biting Kiryu’s spines. Varan then started biting the back of Kiryu’s neck. Varan was ripping out wires. Kiryu rolled over and Varan jumped off. Kiryu got up and activated his Drill-Hand. Kiryu used his rocket boosters, and leaped into the air. Kiryu tried to hit Varan with his Drill, but all he hit was dirt. Kiryu pulled his drill out of the dirt and swung it at Varan. Kiryu struck Varan in the chest. Varan roared in pain. Kiryu took advantage of this and knocked Varan to the ground. He opened his mouth and shot his Type 90 Masers Cannons at Varan. It struck Varan, and he howled in pain. Varan seemed to be dead.

     Kiryu began to restrain Varan with his cords, when Varan grabbed the cords and pulled Kiryu down. Kiryu crashed to the ground and ripped the cords out of their sockets. “This guy gives a good fight, but I got something that will take him out.” Akane said. Kiryu kicked Varan off of him. Kiryu got up and grabbed Varan by his tail, and lifted him up and smashed into the ground. Kiryu opened his chest and fired his Hyper Maser cannons on Varan. Varan rolled around on the ground in agony. The Hyper Maser cannons stopped. Kiryu began to restrain Varan again, with his remaining cords. Kiryu picked Varan up and took him to Monster Island.

Winner… Kiryu

Although Varan put up and heck of a fight, Kiryu won because of his weapons and the fact that his armor was a whole lot tougher.
