MemberMothra LarvaeMar-07-2014 10:27 PMif you watch the IGN video where they talk about 20 minutes of the movie they saw, they mention a huge surprise that is shown during the halo jump AND the train scene. They also mentioned there is clues to what it is in their trailer review, if you watch that the only predictions they make is that rodan is in a scene.... so is it that much of a reach to say they paid a licensing fee with their cogillion dollar budget to bring in a twist?

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-09-2014 5:47 PMWell, that comic strip isn't exactly completely accurate with what I just read.
When I looked it up, it says it's a massive, four-legged monster with wings (probably the winged MUTO) and that Godzilla's foot comes down and he's ABOUT to fight it, but then it cuts to the logo. Much to my displeasure, it says Godzilla is several times its own size.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-09-2014 5:58 PMHm yea I wonder how something so much smaller puts up a fight

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-09-2014 6:03 PMI know, right? I don't want to see Godzilla get beat up or anything (he's the King!) but I wanted, you know, an epic battle. Watching Godzilla trample the MUTOs wasn't exactly what I had in mind.....

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-09-2014 6:08 PMI could see Godzilla fighting a monster more his size while the mutos drain his radiation. That would be a cool way to give G a challenge

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-10-2014 3:22 PMI don't know why they would leave anything off the table with this one. They only come out with this movie every few decades so might as well use whaterver monsters they want without crowding the screen. Its not like godzilla has any important history or characters that transfer between movies like the batman trilogy. Most people go just to see destruction, hence why the transformer series is so profitable.
