Will Ghidorah in this 2019 film look more like

Let's see....... based on the cave paintings, Legendary King Ghidorah is very much still upright, perhaps a bit hunched over like Legendary Godzilla.
He also seems to possess crests running down from the top of his heads in addition to the classic two horns.
A bulkier version of the second one in your OP looks about right.

I sincerely hope we get something closer to the second image--Perhaps with larger more foldable wings in some way. I'd be fine with that.
But the first image and the one that TherizinoRex posted are truly awful.

i think the pattern Legendary is taking with their protagonist MUTO designs is that all of them(so far, although the cave paintings of Ghidorah would lead me otherwise to predict) are hunched over. Like the male and female MUTO in G14, and the Skull Crawlers in K:SI. they all had a similar body language and movement. they both seem to hunch over. i certainly hope that King Ghidorah wouldn't hunch, but i wouldn't be surprised if they go with that Dragon characteristic. if they did i don't think his wings would look as menacing as they always did. What make king ghidorah so different and unique from other dragon monsters in every culture or fantasy is that it what it lacked in apendages is well over compensated with that fact that it has 3 heads! and the wings also made up for the lack of arms.

I think that the Ghidorah would look a bit GMK Ghidorah. Remember when Gman123 said that Ghidorah looks hunched over? The GMK Ghidorah is hunched over too. Also, Legendary's Ghidorah was found in ice, like the GMK Ghidorah. And, a couple of you suggested that this Ghidorah might have an Asian Dragon head. The GMK Ghidorah has that. The plot of Godzilla 2 says that the monsters were "mere myths", and in GMK, King Ghidorah was sort of a myth, being a guardian monster and all.

^I know what you mean. I am against the whole wing walker idea. But I know Legendary is probably going to design King Ghidorah that way whether we want them to or not. Look at the male and female MUTO's and The Skull Crawlers. They both hunched over, I guess they thought they looked more menacing like that. King Ghidorah will probably follow suit as well. The cave paintings don't suggest that so far based on their design, but I just know its going to happen. I hope im wrong. I never wanted to be more wrong in my life.

I think the wing walker look is sick! I feel that it makes him far more deadly. It gives Ghidorah a chance to actually fight face to face combat instead of just poking big G with his stringy heads and dancing around like the old days. Just imagine when he opens them up all the way how big and epic he will truly look! He's actually standing pretty upright there too, so maybe they can find the right balance to the design.
Hey look over there

He has THREE heads. Might as well use them.
No need for wing-arms when he has two perfectly good biting head-hands. Keizer Ghidorah displayed this well in his fight with Godzilla in Godzilla: Final Wars.
Now, I'm all for making those wings pretty massive, just not in a wyvern fasion. Have them be folded in, only to be spread out in a dramatic scene to showcase how intimidating this dragon is.

I would hope not, I think they wanted Keiser Ghidorah to look different and unique. They had a great idea just didn't execute like they should have. still a fun villain.
Im sure we will all be pretty happy with whatever they give Ghidorah. We all kind of accepted Godzilla's new look after it grew on us. It took me awhile to get over his feet! I thought they looked soo ridiculous! (still kind of do)
so I hope after we see the movie we can forgive what we hate and hopefull have a better time the last Godzilla movie back in 2014.

I'll be happy if we get a scene where Godzilla and King Ghidorah are in a power struggle, and KG uses his left and right heads like hands to grapple with Godzilla's actual hands.
I always LOVED imagining that kind of scene ever since I first saw the two duking it out, and am sad that no one has ever thought to do that in a film thus far.

I have a similar fantasy. I would like Ghidorah to fire his breath out of all 3 heads at all 3 opponents at the same time, in different directions. Like Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra are all trying to attack Ghidorah from 3 different positions and Ghidorah bows all three heads to summon up the power and then when he has enough energy built up he extends all 3 heads all at each opponent and strikes them all dead on and they all fall. something to that nature.
