Provide by the comic book, Godzilla King of the Monsters will have an after credits scene. they say "It is supposed to feature Charles Dance's mysterious character heavily, and will likely setup elements for the upcoming Godzilla vs Kong film set for 2020. The character is said to be a terrorist leader who runs a black market operation that takes and distributes resources gathered from Titans."
So tell me what you think. I will link the source of the article here.

Assuming this is accurate, I can definitely see Jonah Alan (Charles Dance's character) being the overarching villain for both Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong, and the one responsible for pitting Godzilla and Kong against each other. That's probably what this post-credits scene will tie into.

Godzilla will return in Avengers 4!
Edit: Hang on a minute, are we sure that Charles Dance isn't playing older James Conrad? Because Mike D. said that one of the characters in K:SI would an appearance in the upcoming movie.
Godzilla Generations was a beautiful game! I loved the fact that there's a laser cannon inside of Dr. Serizawa's eyepatch.

^Rumor has it Brooks from Skull Island will be in it--Unless Conrad has gone full villain and "Jonah" is a cover for some reason.

I would prefer Brooks be the character. As much as I like Charles Dance, making Conrad a villain doesn't really make sense.

Ok, then it's either Brooks or Conrad then.

It makes more sense for Brooks to be the returning character in this film. I really really really want to see Tom Hiddleston return to the franchise in some capacity, but it makes more sense in Godzilla vs. Kong.
