Is that the Transamerica Pyramid or some other random building?

Mothra LarvaeMember1 XPMar-17-2014 4:23 PM

Looks good but.... a puzzle game, really?

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-17-2014 4:30 PM

If you notice, Godzilla's spikes are small in the images when he is on land (the photo of the Godzilla toy with small spikes is true then) and then they got bigger when he was on water, is Godzilla going to evolve in the movie in some way?

Why can't this be more like Save The Earth and Unleashed?

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-17-2014 4:49 PM

hmmm, interesting how the spines seem to get bigger, pherhaps this is only in th egame or maybe in the movie he continues to get stronger an dlarger, kind of like heisi godzilla.

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-17-2014 4:57 PM

At first I thought you play as Godzilla and destroy buildings and all that but then I noticed it was a puzzle game...kinda lame I wish you could just be the king himself and destroy earning points maybe to unlock other creatures, maps,or different era of Godzilla! maybe for a $20 downloadable console game?!

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-17-2014 5:48 PM

Look at the bar, it starts as a heart and works its way up to a blue nuclear symbol. I'm relatively certain that once the bar hits that symbol, you can use Godzilla's atomic ray.

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-18-2014 2:00 AM

wait a sec, godzilla smash...3!?

what the hell does the 3 mean? o_0

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-18-2014 2:01 AM

"Smash 3"? why "3?" whats does three have to do with anything... and the puzzle game idea is crap. i would be willing to pay even $6 and up for a godzilla game where you could fight other monsters or even just rampage  as godzilla through a city. The puzzle game is a huge turn off to me, and I don't understand the meaning behind the "3." I'd honsetly rather just have the movie itself, rather than a lame puzzel game. What we need is an updated version of something like "Godzilla Unleashed" but with a bigger monster roster, better graphics, and more game modes, and accessable on different consolse. People who bought "godzilla unleashed" for ps2 wasted their money when the wii version had better content, but lacked the prefered gameplay of the previous fighting games like "save the earth" and "destroy all monsters."

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-18-2014 3:03 AM

"Smash 3" is for smashing 3 puzzle pieces or more to proceed through the game. It's not meant to be a sequel.

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-18-2014 4:42 AM

Unleashed was horrible. I don't want anything remotely like unleashed ever made again. It was a spit in the eyes of anyone who likes real video games. Sure, numbtards who have barely played video games might think its great, but it was a miserably bad game. Bigger rosters don't mean anything if all the monsters handle like crap.

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-18-2014 9:22 AM

Mobile game? No...just no. This game is totally undermining what Godzilla meant in the trailer.

TitanosaurusMember925 XPMar-18-2014 10:14 AM

I showed the trailer to my friends. This is their reactions.

"It's Godzilla Candycrush!"

I think this looks really cool!

I noticed that Goji's spikes are large in the image when his heart rate bar thing is close to the radiation symbol thing. Perhaps his spikes grow when he is about to fire is atomic breath?

(And I personally like puzzle games)

This looks AWESOME to me.  He looks fantastic.

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-18-2014 9:19 PM

He stands upright but hunches as he walks, that's a detail I thought they'd never include, I'm so glad they did that.

Oh Boy! A puzzle game......WEAK!!!!

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-20-2014 12:08 PM

I'm goina come out and say it... people should stop complaining about this being a puzzel game for several reasons.

1.  It's on mobile devices.  Few action games have good controls or even end up being decent at all on mobile devices so this is a way around that- a Godzilla action game where Godzilla's movements and actions react to how well you are playing the puzzel game!

2.  We don't have that many new puzzel games like this coming out anymore... but the big puzzel game titles have a good track record for quality.  Let's look at some of them... Bejeweled series, Lumines for the PSP, Dr. Mario, Tetris.  These are all GREAT puzzel games that received critical review, many of which are still played years later.  If you want a lasting game that keeps you coming back this is a great way to do it.

3.  Puzzel games are extremely accessible.  No difficult to learn controls, simple competition between friends, easy to learn but hard to master concepts.  They're a great way to get more people interested in the movie especially if the game is fun to play on it's own.

Honestly, I think it's a fantastic and creative idea! Most giant monster games have been of a single ilk. Here they're taking a creative leap and risk and, in my opinion, it looks to be one that will pay off! Don't put this down simply because it's a puzzel game people, give it a chance.  At least let's wait till the reviews come out for it :)

It's nice Godzilla is actually destroying the city again instead of being a nice being who saved humanity about 3 or 4 times.

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPMar-23-2014 10:17 PM

Oooooo a puzzle game? I'm going to love this....:D is it free?

Mothra LarvaeMember18 XPMar-26-2014 10:44 PM

In my google play store is this free?
