- The base paint throughout the figure is mostly the same as the OG.
- The reissue has significantly more dry brushing coverage than the OG.
- The inner mouth of the OG is a brighter red.
- The reissue has no red gums, more like a very dark blood red.
- Eye paint is the same.
- Scar paint is applied better on the reissue.
- Claws have less paint spread than the OG.
- Dorsal paint varies in general, so there are no major differences between the OG.
- The reissue's arm dry brushing has more coverage than the original.
- Dry brushing on the legs of the reissue is more balanced with more coverage than the OG.
- Dry brushing on the feet is also more balanced compared to the OG.
- Claw paint varies in general.
- Tail is painted the same as the OG with no dry brushing. This was corrected on the Minus Color and Heat Ray versions.
- Joint articulation is stiffer in the reissue compared to the OG, especially the head/neck area. Heat treatment is necessary to unlock full range of motion.
