It appears Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will see the return of another iconic Titan! Titanus Mosura aka Mothra will apparently also be making an appearance, if a recent GxK toy packaging reveal is anything to go by! So far, the advanced release of Godzilla x Kong toys have revealed a lot about the film’s plot and new Monsters, so it’s a safe bet to assume this confirms Mothra will play a role and have some screen time in the Godzilla vs. Kong sequel!
The reveal was spotted on a Godzilla x Kong keychain collection guide which featured all the other aforementioned Titans, plus the addition of a familiar Moth Titan:
While this may not 100% confirm her return, we’re 99.9% sure the Queen of Monsters will be reprising her role. Mothra was last seen in 2019 during the events where she sacrificed herself to save Godzilla from his battle with Ghidorah.
