The recent giant monster renaissance continues!

The 1954 monster classic, Them! is officially getting a remake. The film will be directed by composer Michael Giacchino, making his directorial debut and will be produced by Warner Bros.

For those unfamiliar with the original film, which focused on a colony of giant irradiated ants, here's the official trailer for it:

There isn't any confirmation that it'll be part of the MonsterVerse (though it would be cool if ended up being part of the series). It is interesting that Kong: Skull Island made a reference to Them! though...
