MemberMothra LarvaeJun-05-2014 12:55 PMI am making this topic to show if your 1956 Godzilla poster is real. You can also use this to tell if a poster you want to buy is real. There are different ways you can tell if it is a fake. First, the size.
The original poster is 27" x 41", while the fake is 26.5" x 39.5". Here is a picture to demonstrate.
Also notice the divider on the original poster.
The fake is also rolled. (There are no rolled original of this poster.) Godzilla on the fake is also more blue than the Godzilla on the original poster.
I hope this helped, and I'm sorry if this has already been posted before. Here is the link from were I got my information.

AdminGodzillaJun-05-2014 1:22 PMI'm going to move it to the merchandise section, but thanks for the heads up here, Gojira2K. Very informative post. I have a small reprint of the poster, but I knew it was a reprint from the get-go. Still, this will be nice for other fans. Stickied.
