MemberGodzillaAug-17-2015 8:06 PMGMAN2887 - Yay! I was hoping you would present anther of these! Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla has always been extremely vivid in my mind due to the fact that it begins with "Godzilla" mauling poor Anguirus! I was very young when I witnessed this terrible thrashing - and it has stayed with me ever since. However, I was delighted to discover that the beastie responsible for nearly tearing Anguirus' bottom jaw away was in fact an imposter - whom met his match at the hands of the true scaly king! Interestingly enough, King Ceasar's appearance in this film (his debut?) made it all the more fun for me. At times, the inclusion of multiple monsters throughout a film can feel cumbersome; however, King Ceasar, with his array of new and interesting powers, added a bit of unexpected excitment - especially when he and Godzilla allied to take down their mechanized foe! :)

MemberBaragonAug-18-2015 5:01 AMOne of may all time favorite Godzilla movies, and one of the first I remember seeing. I love the idea of mechaGodzilla and King Ceasar. There was alot of action to keep me entertained at a young age. For all the flack it seems to get for SFX the ape transformation on the hand in one scene looked great, and all the firework for MechaG was amazing.

MemberGodzillaAug-18-2015 10:54 PMA little off topic, but I have just finished watching Godzilla vs. Mechgodzilla 2. Some of the dialogue in that film makes me giggle like such a twit - especially the simulator battles regarding the Garuda! :)
