Godzilla's a Plant: How do the G-Fans Feel?

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-25-2017 10:19 AMWith the reveal of Godzilla's origin in the new 2017 anime, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters many fans have become fairly disappointed in it. The gist is that in the new movie, Godzilla has originated from plant-life which is why he's all green and his spines resemble leaves.
Now, every new design grows on me at some point such as this one. You got G-Fans complaining about how he now looks like an old man, and that his origin is too silly for the king of the monsters.
I believe the whole Godzilla being a plant is symbolic for something. Remember that one saying? "Godzilla's a force of nature". Maybe Godzilla being a plant is in relation to that, that Godzilla has originated from a form of nature and is now destroying all in his path.
It is unknown what Godzilla's foe in this movie, the Servum have come from though but the wiki insists they are a sub-species of Godzilla. What are your thoughts on this new origin of Godzilla?
