Mine has to be Legendary's Godzilla.
He just has a well-rounded overall structure and presence that I really dig. His design is wonderfully simple yet nuanced, his weight and feel are perfect, and his overall style and character are quite striking to me.
To me, he represents the kind of design process that should go towards a modern Godzilla. Harken back to core design philosophies while making changes that don't necessarily change facets of the ideology and story of the character.
He just looks really damn good. He's large and imposing, yet also has a naturalistic look that simply fits the character.

My favorite is Heisei Godzilla. He looks the best in my opinion, and it’s what came out when I was growing up, so there’s that too.

Donzilla55: Agreed. I like the Heisei era Godzilla the most (although the millienuim series were not bad, my second favorite design, well, for the Tokyo S.O.S version anyway). The Heisei series have the proportions just right. His head shape and size, his spikes and tail, were the right proportions that adds up to a great design. Although the 1985 version had his head too big, but this was corrected in Godzilla vs Biollante.

Heisei Godzilla was my favorite until Legendary redesigned big G. In all honesty, I am loving the look of KOTM Goji so far, more so than G'14. Not to sound cliche, but I think KOTM Goji will have my vote for all time favorite.

Heisei, in particular the Biogoji and Ghidogoji in terms of pure design.

My also is the Legendary Godzilla, he has a good and outstanding design as the next generations of Godzilla franchises, such as the Legendary Godzilla design is give a description of the Balancer and the Mother Nature Protector

I love Legendary goji, but GMK goji has a special place for me, hence my name
Zwei Wing is the best singing duo. Change my mind.

I have to say it's '93 for me. He's the perfect Godzilla to me. My second fave is '95, then probably Tokyo S.O.S. or '54 for sheer classic-ness. The 60s and 70s Godzillas are awesomely cheesy. Actually they're all awesome. The only ones I don't like are GINO, (who really doesn't count) Shin (I can't get used to the bowling pin shape. or the purple breath. or the fact that he looks like bacon. I could go on, but I digress) I'm not a fan of GMK Goji in execution, though I like the initial design: the dinosaur-like stance was a cool idea. I'm not comfortable with his white eyeballs.

The Showa Godzilla goes through such a diverse, varied development that I feel he best represents all facets of the character. From nightmare fuel to a seasoned superhero, the Showa Godzilla encompassed just about everything that makes Godzilla what he is.
As far as static interpretations go, Heisei comes next. I'm not a huge fan of the 1990s movies, but I did like the design and execution.

The EXACT one featured here. KiryuGoji. Hands down the best and Definitive Godzilla and design.

Mine are GMK, KiryuGoji, FinalWarsGoji, HeiseiGoji ('91 and '95), LegendaryGoji (2014 and 2019), and (as a guilty pleasure) '98 [also known as Zilla].
Edit: Yay! You're back, Xenotaris. :)

In terms of design, the 2002 design, but my favorite Godzilla incarnation is probably the Legendary one.

Heisei Godzilla is my all time favorite.
Godzilla... Truly a God incarnate.

The OG Godzilla and Legendary, but I haven't seen enough of the movies from the other series. I actually have a bit of a soft spot for the 1998 one.... BUT AS IT'S OWN KAIJU NOT FRIGGIN GODZILLA!!!!! It is Zilla, not Godzilla. I wish they could find a way to bring Zilla into the Monsterverse. Maybe as Godzilla's child..... somehow... or just as an ancestor to Godzilla's species. It'd be really cool. Still, not as good as any of the movies I've seen from ANY of the series.
If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.

Probably KiryuGoji. Best design imo.

Legendary and Heisei.
Pure Masterpieces in both character and design. They even have something akin to character development!
Best villains too. Biollante, The Destroyer, King Ghidorah, Kong...Just magnificent.
They'are also the most powerful, by far. The only one that comes close is Final Wars Godzilla, which is amazing in his own right.

1. Legendary, because whats not to love.
2. Gojira1954, because he is the original.
3. 1998/Zilla. With more love Zilla could have been a palentologically correct Godzilla since Godzilla is supposed to be a dinosaur afterall and they should have gave him all of godzilla's iconic powers.
4. Heisei, because he looks better than most of the showa era godzillas, in my opinion anyways.
5.2000, I like the reptilian look and the spikey spines.

I love Legendary's but all time favorite is the Heisei era Godzilla. Then GMK, then Legendary.

Millennium if I HAVE to choose, but hey it's the Big Guy, so gimme all of 'em!
