MemberAnguirusMay-18-2022 7:28 AMConsidering that it was able to melt through rock with enough power to reach the center of the Earth, I would say that it's extremely hot, though I don't know the exact temperature. One guidebook stated that Godzilla's (specifically the Heisei version's) atomic breath was about 500,000 degrees Celsius or 900,032 degrees Fahrenheit, not sure exactly how accurate that is (since that's apparently over 85 times hotter than the surface of the Sun, if the articles I read are correct), but if it is, then I assume that the MonsterVerse version would be similar.

MemberAnguirusMay-18-2022 7:36 AMKeep in mind that I'm going off of calculations from other articles and an official Godzilla guidebook (which might have some mistranslations and errors), so I might be completely wrong, because, in all honesty, I really suck at math.

AdminGodzillaJan-11-2023 11:18 PMResurrecting this thread due to some recent sources, both Japanese and English, that I've been privy to. Should make for interesting discussion. For reference the surface of the sun is 9,941 °F:
Showa - 180,032 °F
Heisei - 900,032 °F
- 1,800,032 °F (Hyper Uranium Ray from GvsMG2)
- 1,620,032 °F (Burn Spiral Heat Ray from GvsSG)
Monsterverse - 36,032 °F
Shin - 2,100,000 °F (estimated)
Earth (Anime) - 2,843,451,392.936 °F (converted from 3 Trillion J/s)

A lot of this is from various Japanese source books, notable Tanaka's book from 1996 and the Godzilla Complete Works book from recent years. The latter Godzilla numbers are from individual art and source books.
