More about upcoming Godzilla movies

Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) is the sequel to Michael Dougherty's Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters and will be the fourth and final installment in the Monsterverse movie quadrilogy. Wait, I just thought of something. If they’re still expanding, does that mean Monsterverse is planned to continue after GvK? I know the box offic affects it, but it’s an interesting thought

It would be a good idea to put this before GvK. It would allow to explore the mythology of the ancient titans and perhaps even look into the underworld.

There may even be paths to Atlantis - a flooded city from KotM. While it is not a part of Skull Island, it would still shed light on the ancient world of the Monsterverse.

Yes, I have to make it clearer. Prequel to GvK, KotM, K:SI, G2014. In general, in ancient times. At least until the 20th century. A better somewhere BC.

Some of yall don't understand the licensing agreement Toho and legendary had. After GvK the rights to Godzilla will go back to Toho and they are gonna continue the Shin era of movies. So the MonsterVerse will continue with Kong only.
