The first few seconds is like the start up of some demonic engine! Incredible, this Godzilla will obliterate all memory of 1998!
Where has this come from!? I saw this on comingsoon.net as well. The beginning of the roar sounds kind of modified from the one in the trailer and comic con footage. Could this be from the new trailer due soon!? (Godzilla cover Empire magazine is also out on the predicted 27th for the trailer could this be coincidence or are our hopes being realised?)
Yeah-it's awesome. Complex, unique, genuinely scary. Yet true to the original. other worldly. I have a feeling not everyone is going to like it but I love I.
You beat my post by a few seconds, if it shows up hopefully chris can delete mine So there isn't a duplicate thread.
Comes from legendary and official godzilla facebook page and i think twitter, so it's official
Damnit of course the website won't work for me. Has anyone downloaded it yet and could email it to me hilsdorf84@yahoo.com
@HILSDORF84
go to http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=115255 its there ready to play underneath the empire cover on soundcloud
now that is even more epic and now this is even more stuff.
1. really good poster
2. more interaction to do with godzilla by offical facebook and twitter pages
3. really good empire cover
and now 4. the FULL official roar
this is obviously something to do with marketing and it shows even more that a trailer is coming very soon
it also shows that legendary and warner bros are now ready to promote godzilla
the roar seem a little long, especially at like 0:02 to around 0:07, it sounds edited and too mechanical
it's like the original 1954 roar, long like the 84-91 roar and changed to make it more unique, the 98 roar was mostly the same classic 60's-70's roar with a elephant roar in the middle. this new roar does not sound like it uses animal noises whats so ever, just like the original was.
The roar is a bit long but will probably not be entirely used in the film. It will most likely be shortened etc. to suit certain sequences
This roar is amazing. It gave me chills when I heard it. I want this set as my alarm.

@GOJIRA2K: My thoughts exactally! A very impressive and imposing roar. I don't think even the Final Wars Gojira would want to mess with this American Godzilla when he heres it roar.

John 3:16, Job 41:1-34, Leviticus 18:22
A little long, which I'm sure will vary in the film. The low rumble underneath the high pitched scream is dark and menacing. I love it! I also think the grumbling, gutteral ending is fantastic. It reverbates with power and massiveness. They did a great job hitting all the right tones.
EDIT: Sorry guys. I just woke up when I wrote my first response.
My apologies.
I saw the email from Legendary, and while it still sounds a bit strange to me, I retract my previous opinion. Again, I apologize for any problems it may have caused (short as it was). I'm not a morning person, so waking up and hearing this put my mind in a denial state.
It almost sounds as though there's a 'musical' backdrop going on. Well not music per se, but an ascending cord to signify increasing tensity, if that makes sense...could this be a lift from the new trailer? Otherwise, this roar seems pretty long.
