It doesn't necessarily have to be from the Godzilla franchise.
Mine have always been Gigan and King Ghidorah. I think Gigan is cool and I like his design (Especially the Final Wars one, he was just badass!). And King Ghidorah is a freaking golden, three-headed, lighting-breathing, flying dragon from outer space! Although I would have liked for him to have arms, I can only imagine how great he would look! Also I would have liked for him not to have those "breasts" he has, and I would have made his legs longer, but oh well.
Aside from the Godzilla franchise, my favorite Kaiju of all would be Otachi from Pacific Rim. I liked a couple of the Kaiju featured in Pacific Rim, like Knifehead and Trespasser, but I REALLY like Otachi's creature design and abilities. At first I thought the flight thing was kind of forced, but I grew fond of it.

GodzillaAdmin5128 XPApr-24-2014 12:05 AMTeam GhidorahKing Ghidorah will always have my heart outside of Godzilla. Truly a magnificant and classic creation. I've can't say I've "hated" any of his incarnations and he always provides a fun battle for Godzilla.
Outside Toho I have to go with Gamera. The Showa movies were pretty rough, but the Heisei Trilogy introduced a monster with complexity. I never thought I would feel for a monster's heroism like I did for Gamera.

Together, they're practically unbeatable - and I love how they just DO NOT let up on Godzilla! If one (or both) of these bad boys are in a fight with Godzilla it's going to be a blast! :)
BaragonMember425 XPApr-24-2014 2:42 AMRodan hands down. Always formidable(excluding that crap scene in final wars). Godzilla's main ally. Some people say it's Anguirus but that's bs. Rodan with Mothra were the first monsters to ally with him, and in heisei he gave his life energy to Godzilla to power him up and keep baby Godzilla safe.

Destoroyah because its design, mannerisms and what-not just enthrall me.
Biollante because she was just... So tragic. It was an amazing creature.
Zilla Jr. because I love his design with the combination of Godzilla's powers.
The MUTOs because they are a long held childhood dream to witness giant, bioluminescent insect-like creatures fighting Godzilla. Thank you Gareth Edwards and your fantastic team(s).

Mothra LarvaeMember0 XPApr-24-2014 7:55 AMMy favorite would have to Biollante. I don't know what it is about her but she has always been my favorite. Maybe it is the tendrils orr the spore flight. Either way she will always be my favorite Kaiju of all.
Outside of Toho, but still Japanese I would have to go with either Legion or Irys. They have unique designs and abilities and are just plain cool looking. Legion's overall look made me see a beast that had the power to destroy the world. Irys's powers and looks made him a favorite of mine the tendrils that lasers and the transperent skin wings are just so cool.
Outside of Toho and anything Japanese I would have to go Otachi from Pacific Rim. The grip tall was what originally made me like her, But when she sprayed acid it made mr like her even more. Then her wings came out of her arms (I still don't know how they work) and she became my ultimate favorite.

Now that I think about it I would put Knifehead in my favorite Kaiju list. Maybe under Otachi and King Ghidorah, but all under Godzilla (Especially the 2014 design)!
