Since so many people love G 1954 the best! Doesn't that make 1956 the best American Godzilla Film?

The original is so good is because they don't hold any punches they give the grim reality of the monster. When the movie came to the US they toned down the movie and made more western friendly. Say what you will about G14 but it does show the threat of nuclear weapons granted it was in a way no one was proabaly expecting. And it's been too long since I saw the 85 edit so I can't judge that.
