No. When you said, "Obviously cause they picked a character that we hate" kind of made me irk, cause if you hate Zilla like most of the member's hear why are you making a thread protraying him as good? He freaking destroyed tons of building in that damned to hell film, there was no Innocent lizard thats what Zilla Apoligists say.

Interesting idea.  Personally, I think people need to let go of all this animosity TOWARDS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER.  Yes, it was a spit in the face to Godzilla, his legacy, and the fans, but there are more important things out there than fixating on a 16 year old abomination.  Despite how insulting the film and design were, I still enjoy the movie and love the design of the monster... NOT as a Godzilla design, but as a creature design.  That said, it would be interesting to see the two team up in some fictional adventure one day!  Not sure how fans would react to Godzilla NOT handing Zilla his butt in a basket, but it could work if done right.

Just a warning, Kaijujira... you are going to get a lot of flack for this thread.  Hang tough and stand by your opinions.  And lets try to keep it civil in here, alright folks? :)

I don't think it's fair to say most of the members here hate zilla. It seems pretty even between who does and doesn't like him the people that dislike him are just more vocal with their opinions....

But anyway before this becomes another thread where people just spit out their opinions of zilla for the 50th time, I wouldn't mind seeing him as a good guy in future media. He was very much a hero in his series and he wasn't exactly evil in his movie so if Rodan, Godzilla and Anguirus could make the change from destroyers to heros Zilla could too.

^Well said! :) I wasn't implying that most members hate Zilla, but rather that the people who do are VERY vocal, and are most likely going to derail this thread into a Zilla rant (or, as you accurately say, the 50th time).  Lets hope we can keep this as civil as possible.

Its funny you say that because my fan-fic Zilla Jr: Earths Second Defender depicts that exactly, an Earth Defender.

KAIJUJIRA - I absolutely enjoy the idea of Godzilla and Zilla taking on baddies together! Can you imagine how powerful a fighting duo they'd make? Godzilla's brute strength and incredible atomic power coupled with Zilla's speed and remarkable agility? In my opinion, it'd be spectacular - symbolic of all fans coming together to trounce the evil-doing monsters of the universe! :D

That was different ZILLA and Japan did that on Perpose to make the film more dramtic!

The hate towards Zilla still exists?! Wow, those fanboys really need to calm down.

I would like to think that Zilla can be on Godzilla's side, but I prefer to think that Zilla is another one of those monsters that is on Monster Island living peacefully(with Zilla Jr and Komodithrax if possible), rather than being on Big-G's side, fighting Gigan or Megalon, like Anguirus or Rodan would.

Zilla is not strong enough to hold his own against most monsters.
