But I gotta admit some of them don't look good with hindsight. Personally the most stupid opponenets I think its a tie between Jet Jaguar/Megalon/Moguera. Jet is just a rip-off of Ultra-man. Megalon has drills for hands, come on. Moguera is just an uninspired and less competent version of MechaGodzilla.

I've never been a fan of Moguera or Space Godzilla. Space Godzilla is a bit too Mary Sue for me.

Why do we constantly feel the need to demean and hurl insults at these films and the monsters we all love?! How is it constructive?
As long as we are sharing opinions, I don't think their is a "worst" or "stupid" monster in the Godzilla series. Each has charm, endearing and/or memorable designs, character that defines them, and even stories that, while not always "believable", are always fun and have captures all of our hearts.
Maybe I'm looking at the series through rose colored glasses, but what can I say... I love the hell out of every movie and monster. I am not a fan that looks for and fixates on flaws... I just want to have fun with a fun movie. You don't like that, tough. I'm as entitled to my opinions as you are to yours.

BaragonMember425 XPDec-29-2014 8:27 PMYou know when you make posts with rants like that it really kills the thread, and puts light that you find the thread "negative" something that most people don't want to be associated with. If you see a post you know you won't agree with why not just skip it, or simply say "I don't have a monster I think is the worst" rather than going on a tangent about how you love all aspects of the movies and monsters they include.
Just to shed light on this "worst" doesn't mean terrible depending on the comparisons it's being made to. If you have an olympic team chances are they're all amazing and you enjoy watching them all, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a "worst" member. That member is by no means bad or hated, they simply aren't as good as the others.

I' always thought Monguera was uninspired and dull so put it as Most Stupid and the worst is easily the Giant condor with Gabara coming in a close second. If anyone disagrees that cool, won't argue. It's just my opinion.
I agree with Duratok about Megalon, the design is pretty awesome.

It first appeared as an alien construction mechanism gone astray in the 1957 masterpiece The Mysterians. There were multiple Mogeras in the film.

I really don't mind all the others. Even the Giant Condor. I thought it was a cool nod that the island was so heavily irradiated it was effecting creatures besides just Ebirah.

Which reminds me, SpaceGodzilla also isn't one of the better enemies, you can tell the producer and writers were running out of ideas if they have to make Godzilla fight such a similar version of himself.
As for the other fella ranting, well, look, I love Godzilla, but I'm not so blindly devoted to the series that I won't admit some of the Big G's enemies weren't really worthy foes.

Ebirah wasn't made to be a Godzilla villain.
Gabara was both stupid and ridiculous, but it never attacked Godzilla (that I can remember).
I'd say the MUTOs from the 2014 movie. Just because they weren't threatening and barely a challenge. Also, most simple and non-creative designs ever. Just took the Cloverfield monster and fused it with the Xenomorph Queen.
