MemberMothra LarvaeApr-25-2015 4:08 PMWell, it scared me in Godzilla: Final Wars. The thing that scared me was the Xilean reveal scene where they just revealed themselves in such in a bloody way. I was like, 7, and was still watching stuff like Winnie the Pooh, so yeah, it scared.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-25-2015 6:15 PMI dont know why but my fave movie scared me the most when i was young. the music of first scene with Anguirus scared me, then Mechagodzilla turning Godzilla into a blood sprinkler.
Something Real
MemberGodzillaApr-25-2015 6:17 PMMONSTERMOVIEGUY - Godzilla has scared me in the past! When I was a little girl, I remember watching the original 1954 Godzilla with my sister! It terrified us both! Godzilla was such a monstrous creature - and the scenes in which he was wading through the burning remnants of Tokyo were frightful in the extreme! Of course, the Return of Godzilla (Godzilla 1984) also had one or two moments that spooked me! :)

MemberGiganApr-25-2015 6:19 PMProbably GMK when i was 10.
The White eyes, how gruesome and violent he was, and he kills so many people with no mercy. I mean, he killed a girl in the hospital!!
It didn't scare me as much as make me not like Godzilla himself as much.
Good grief.

MemberTitanosaurusApr-25-2015 8:40 PMI don't remember any of the movies scaring me (beside's that seagull jumpscare in Godzilla 2014). But I do remember having a nightmare once when I was younger where I was trapped in a car and Godzilla was trying to eat me but thankfully I survived but it was pretty scary.
Godzilla... Truly a God incarnate.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-25-2015 10:49 PMYes.
When I saw "Godzilla, King of the Monsters," on Channel 9, KHJ-TV, in the mid-1960's. He was scary. And that roar was terrifying. There's a scene where he's looking right down at you.
This, was scary:
Something Real
MemberGodzillaApr-26-2015 12:33 AMJAMAAL - Indeed! I was not lucky enough to see Godzilla when it first came out (I was born in 1988). However, that movie was (and still is at times) very frightening! :)
GG
MemberGiganApr-26-2015 7:00 AM^ I was born in 1987, so i also didn't witness the original when it first came out.
Infact, i didn't see the original Godzilla until 1996.
Good grief.

MemberGodzillaApr-26-2015 2:18 PMGORILLAGODZILLA - Hahaha! That is fantastic! I first saw Godzlla in 1993 - abut the same time I saw Jurassic Park! :)

"Probably GMK when i was 10."
"^ I was born in 1987, so i also didn't witness the original when it first came out."
???
This means you were 10 in 1997. GMK didn't come out until the end of 2001.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-28-2015 9:09 PMAnother scary thing about this is that you, the viewer, are right in the line of fire. This shot places you in the story and makesyou a witness and a participant.
This is one of the many great, yet moving, aspects of Gojira.
