After seeing the after-credits scene in G: Kotm, It got me thinking:

Who's the main villain is GVK?

Warner Bros. Has the rights to the character (Ready player one), and it would be reasonable, because during the newspaper clipping of " Titans breaking into Skull island, it says that Monarch is building a "Mechanized Giant" There.

Who do you think will be the main villain in GvK?

Zwei Wing is the best singing duo. Change my mind.

Maybe, maybe it's Mechaghidorah, because of the Ghidorah head at the post credits scene. Maybe Destoroyah, or as I like to call him, DESESTROYAH!!!!!! I mean, Dougherty said he wants to bring him into the ring.

If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.

TitanosaurusMember661 XPJun-02-2019 12:50 PMTeam Godzilla

MechaGodzilla or MechaGidorah. Or Gigan.

King GhidorahAdmin19407 XPJun-02-2019 2:25 PMTeam Ghidorah

Would LOVE if it were Gigan...

Mothra LarvaeMember26 XPJun-02-2019 2:31 PM

Its going to be one of four things IMO. Mecha King Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla, Destroyah, or a brand new Titan made by Jonah Alan. I do like the Gigan idea though even though it is a long stretch unless they made him more robotic like in Final Wars now that could work.

Mothra LarvaeMember12 XPJun-02-2019 3:47 PM

I think it would be way too soon to bring back Ghidorah in any shape or form, I think the end credits scene was a more long term hint as it would be a little ridiculous to have such a wealth of interesting monsters and just bring back one that was in the last film, except as a robot.

Plus, Monarch is building the mechanised titan, Jonah has the head and, many times throughout the film, Jonah's organisation is credited as primarily dealing with DNA, I think if anything is going to come from the Ghidorah head, it'll be to do with its DNA and in a few films from now.

If they do go with an original new monster to be the mechanised design, I do hope they manage to design something interesting because all the Legendary original monsters so far have been pretty tame and uninspired.

I'm putting bets down on Gigan but, let's be real, we all want it to be Jet Jaguar ;)

BaragonMember125 XPJun-02-2019 8:26 PM

LMAO it won't be Gigan, Jet Jaguar, or Mecha King Ghidorah. You guys need to get out of your adolescent fan bubble. Mainstream audiences are laughing Godzilla 2 off of the screen right now and you guys think the aforementioned characters will be in G vs K. LOL never change Godzilla fandom.

G. H. (Gman)

If any of those are in the movie, it's a little late to change at this point due to any reaction. The movie is deep in post.

BaragonMember125 XPJun-02-2019 9:06 PM

And it will be another movie that audiences laugh off the screen.

^Is there a reason why you're being so overly critical to the fanbase and a great film like KotM? If you hate the Godzilla fanbase so much then why are you on this site, talking about it?

Good grief.

BaragonMember307 XPJun-02-2019 9:16 PM

ma***balove: Ummm...what actually are you doing on a Godzilla forum?

BaragonMember307 XPJun-02-2019 9:20 PM

Emperor GorillaGodzilla: Sounds like a troll to me (or haha, maybe a closet critic who can't stand moviegoers loving this film). Sure, it's perfectly legitimate to critique the Godzilla fanbase, I mean, honestly, certain corners of the G fandom needs a good reality check. That being said, this fella seems to say nothing but negative things about Godzilla, his fans and wishing for the failure of KOTM. I really don't see what point there is for him (or her) being on a Godzilla forum...except to be a troll and rile people up.

Mothra LarvaeMember26 XPJun-03-2019 12:25 AM

As much as I'd love them to, I don't think they'll bring up mechas right now... can't think of a way they can do it without being just '????'

TitanosaurusMember661 XPJun-03-2019 1:24 AMTeam Godzilla

Also it can be Super-X. Monarch or militaries will use this machine to defence cities, but A.I goes mad and G & K will fight it.

I think for the film after GvK, if the studios will use the plot with alien-kaiju - it should be Gigan. And maybe we can get alien-race like in some classic Godzilla films. Dudes from Final Wars for example.

BaragonMember125 XPJun-03-2019 3:38 AM

there won't be any films after GvsK, You can bet on that. We are witnessing first hand when you give a fan like Dougherty the keys to a franchise they will **** it up with his ****ty fan fiction-like script and actors that no one knows who the hell they are. A least Gareth Edwards for all his flaws as well, Made a godzilla film for everyone, And the Box office numbers reflect that.

BaragonMember478 XPJun-03-2019 4:56 AM

actors that no one knows who the hell they are.

BaragonMember124 XPJun-03-2019 6:47 AM

Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, and Millie Bobbie Brown are all pretty well known actors.

though i do agree, KOTM is a movie for the fans, not general moviegoers. I believe the GvK will fix this, and bring in a large general audience. This is because more people know who Kong and Godzilla are and would want to see them fight, but not many people aside from the fans have any idea who Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan are, so KOTM winds up looking less interesting to people.

I have friends who aren't Godzilla fans who didn't want to see KOTM but did say they are going to see GvK.

The monsterverse's only chances of a future now are for KOTM to break even, so they don't get a loss on that, and for GvK to be a BIG movie, like in the 700-800 range, to make up for what they didn't make on KOTM.

Gvk also doesn't have a big movie releasing around it. KOTM released the week after aladdin, and the week before X-Men Dark Pheonix and The Secret Life of Pets 2. A release earlier in May might have been better for the film. But GvK doesn't have too much competition around it as of now, so more people will see it.

The Realist

Mothra LarvaeMember88 XPJun-03-2019 9:10 AMTeam Godzilla

Unfortunately, I think Godzilla is the villain. The comment at the end of KOTM in which was stated "he is our ally... For now" has me concerned. My apologies if the quote is not word for word.

Mothra LarvaeMember69 XPJun-03-2019 2:16 PM

maybe the movie will be:

Kong fights Mechagodzilla and defeats him while Godzilla fights Mechanikong and defeats him and then real Kong and real Godzilla meet and we finally get the real battle

no fakers, no imitations, the real deal showdown

BaragonMember124 XPJun-03-2019 4:42 PM

I really think if any mecha-kaiju was in this film it would be mecha-King-Ghidorah. Due to what we see in the post credit scene for KOTM.
