MemberBaragonAug-10-2019 12:25 PMWell, when I first got into Godzilla I decided to start from the very beginning. So I bought the original uncut 54 movie on Prime Video.

The movie did not remain to be my favorite Godzilla film but the design had forever remained my most favorite.

MemberBaragonAug-12-2019 8:03 PMOoh, this is fun.
Technically my brother owned the '98 one on DVD first, but for me personally it was Ghidorah: The Three-Headed Monster and Godzilla Vs. Megalon on a "Monsters Triple Feature" VHS from some company called Silver Screen Video. Since it was a second-hand store find, Ghidorah had some bad static and fuzz during the middle, but I watched the heck out of Megalon.
(BTW the third movie was some 1942 horror flick called Killer Bat, which I have yet to watch to this day)

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-20-2019 10:48 AMGodzilla VS. Mechagodzilla (1974) watched that thing for hours until it was weathered down to nothing. I'd be sitting on the carpet captivated by all the explosions and beams and would fast forward the whenever there was a human scene.

MemberGiganAug-20-2019 10:25 PMwell the next thing i owned after the taped Godzilla 1998 movie was the whole Toho Godzilla collection from my Uncle. Well they were also tapped so quite a few of them were bootleg quality. But I plan on replacing my VHS collection with DVD and Blu-ray copies. I have most of Showa and all of the Millenium series, I just need to collect the rest of the auxillary Showa series and I need to get all of the Heisei since the only Heisei series I have is the Rebirth of Mothra series.
I also own the current Monsterverse movies and I recently bought Godzilla1998 on DVD
