Gojira, a terrifying irradiated creature wreaking havoc on Tokyo. One of cinemas greatest villains, is he really that bad?
Excluding any Goji who is portrayed to actively defend mankind, I wonder the other versions actions could be defended (excluding GMK, obviously)?
I think that Shodai Goji could be defended by one argument. He left and didn’t come back. Shodai Goji went and had some revenge and then left to chill. Mankind came to kill him with the oxygen destroyer. And much of later Goji iterations destruction is accidental.
What are your thoughts?

I assumed since he was in a lot pain due to his mutations he was lashing out because of it.

Well, not really. GMK is probably the only exception, where he went out of his way to murder people.
Zwei Wing is the best singing duo. Change my mind.

He definitely went out of his way to kill Katagiri in Godzilla 2000.

Yeah, besides those two I think he's just being Godzilla, I guess. (Is that the best way you can put that, Katto?)

Yeah, I'm with G.H. (Gman) and Gmkgoji But other than that, he's fine.
