I only watched the teaser trailer of Godzia 2014 and the first 2 KOTM trailers. So GvK is the first Godzilla movie where I really watched every trailer and nearly all the TV spots.
The problem is, since I've watched so much GvK content, yt starts recommending me more than just trailers and TV spots now. Whenever I go to YouTube, a see a spoiler scene about Godzilla vs Kong. This wouldn't be a problem if the titles didnt describe the entire scene. So not only do I have to avoid looking at any scenes that appear in the thumbnail, I also have to avoid reading the title.
Did this happen with 2014 and KOTM? If so, I guess I'll have to go back to only watching a single trailer. :(

From the first trailer of Godzilla 2014, the dive into hell scene, in the trailer only Godzilla was present but in the actual movie both Godzilla and the MUTO were present.

Youtube algorithms and suggestions are much smarter than they were in 2014. And because so many countries are getting the movie before the US, it's easy for them to upload pirated scenes. It's going to get a lot worse once the movie starts streaming on HBOMax and pirates just rip the HD stream from there.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters had this problem as well, with people uploading pirated versions of King Ghidorah's emergence via phone cameras. It wasn't quite as widespread as stuff today, but understand people are very desperate for new movies and content in the COVID era. Godzilla vs. Kong is one of the only big new releases that has come out since December. It has a big, red target on it.

Of course that didn't stop someone from filming Godzilla: Final Wars off a screen and leaking the entire movie online through other avenues.
