Overall I really like this series. I've enjoyed all of the movies so far and I really hope that Legendary and Warner Bros. are able to continue this series.
Ranking them is kind of hard for me, but currently I would rank them:
1. Kong: Skull Island
2. Godzilla (2014)
3. Godzilla vs Kong
4. Godzilla: King of the Monsters (A close tie for third)
Long Live The Kings!!!

I love the monsterverse as well
1 Godzilla 2014
2. Godzilla vs Kong
3. Godzilla King of the Monsters
4. Kong Skull Island

For me, it's going to be:
1. Godzilla Vs. Kong
2. Kong: Skull Island
3. Godzilla: King of the Monsters
4. Godzilla (2014)
It's been great so far, so hopefully WB and Legendary continue the MonsterVerse!
And yes, I'm still Team Kong....

My rankings:
1. Godzilla 2014
2. Godzilla vs Kong
3. Godzilla King Of The Monsters
4. Kong Skull Island (sorry Kong fans. I'm just not a big Kong guy)
So far This is my 2nd fav era featuring Godzilla Aside from the Heisei era and I hope to see some Heisei kaiju in the future like Desoroyah (Godzilla in burning mode the ENTIRE movie would be awesome), Biollante, And Spacegodzilla. Obviously, I'm Team Godzilla.

Yes, that's plain to see....

Team Godzilla all the way here @14Goji

I can't believe he actually won.
GVK was focused on Kong more, so that was surprising...

TEAM KONG!

YES

1.godzilla vs kong
2. kong skull island
3.godzilla 2014
4.godzilla kotm
I personaly think that the kong side of the monsterverse was done WAY better than the godzilla side.
still team godzilla do

nooooo

monsterzero9,
I'm going to have to agree with you there. Hollywood seems to do great with Kong--But Kong is also an American creation.
For some reason, after four attempts, Hollywood's sensibilities and westernism kinda clashes with a lot of the things Godzilla stands for, which is inherently Japanese.
I'm not saying a western Godzilla movie can't be done well. In fact, there's some great movies Hollywood has produced in the giant monster genre. (Cloverfield, Pacific Rim, Colossal.) But ultimately, if the Monsterverse continues, I think it should use Kong as its flagship monster, since we tend to nail him better. Kong seems to be the bigger box office draw anyway. Meanwhile, I'm ready for another Japanese Godzilla film.
Dear Yamazaki,
Do it.

I agree with monsterzero9 and gman

Unsure where to rank KSI and GvK with respect to each other, but I can confidently say G14 still holds its position as my personal favorite of the franchise thus far, with KotM falling to the bottom of the list and the other two movies ending up somewhere in-between.
Also, I am team Kong all the way, though his loss didn't really affect my opinion on the film in any way :/
"What’s so great about discovery? It’s a violent, penetrative act that scars what it explores. What you call discovery, I call the rape of the natural world."
— Dr. Ian Malcolm, Jurassic Park (1993)

1. KoTM
2. G14
3. GvK
4. KSI - I dunno, I didn’t enjoy this film as much as the others.

1.gvk
2.g14
3.ksi
4.kotm
long live the king

I rewatched it like 3 times, and enjoyed it all 3 times. Huge fan of both godzilla and kong but I felt the movie initially made godzilla feel more like a "villain" with Kong looking all innocent. The fights were super awesome but I still prefer Godzilla vs Ghidorah. Burning Godzilla was just too badass.
The humans were incredibly annoying (mainly Millie, i don't understand how she was in 2 godzilla films already and rumored to be in the 3rd).

1. Godzilla King of the Monsters (4.5/5)
2. Godzilla 2014 (4/5)
3. Kong Skull Island (3.5/5)
4. Godzilla vs Kong (2/5)
I genuinely feel weird for being in the minority for disliking GvK as everyone seems to love it besides me. But then again everyone has and will have their own opinions so who cares at the end of the day. Really enjoyed everything else though!
I'm hoping we'll see a Mothra/Rodan solo movie next or at least a proper sequel to Kong Skull Island. Maybe even a beast from 20.000 fathoms remake or even a new Gamera movie (however unlikely it is)?
Long live the king...

Gman, Only if the MonsterVerse and Toho can coexist. If not, heck naw.
KaijuBuildz, Here's how I give my star ratings for the MonsterVerse...
1. Godzilla Vs. Kong (7.9/10)
2. Kong: Skull Island (7.6/10)
3. Godzilla: King of the Monsters (7/10)
4. Godzilla 2014 (6.2/10)
And we really need Pacific Rim Vs. MonsterVerse....

@SonicccccFelinewithStripes
No... No Jeager vs Godzilla

Yes Jeagers vs Titans
I would really like to see Godzilla vs Clover though...

Nononono....
Momsterverse Goji is 400 ft
Clover is 6000 ft tall
i just feel like I’m disagreeing with everything right now

@Sonic
I hate to say this, but if Toho and Monsterverse can’t coexist
then I want to see some Toho Godzilla stuff.

I'd probably go with..
1. Godzilla: King of the Monsters (Intense Action)
2. Godzilla vs Kong (Mainly because of Mecha-G)
3. Godzilla 2014 (Suspense)
4. Kong Skull Island (Got kinda bored watching this one. And compared to watch time, I've only watched Kong like once or twice.)

HOLD ON, you can't disrespect the M O N K E

Ghidorah can, I’m sorry, but I’m switching.

NOOOOO

well, unfortunately, i can't give a rating because GVK hasn't run in europe yet. we have the pandemic to thank for that here.
the trailer is absolutely first class, only the film music I find just bad. if you look at the other postings, you probably have great fight scenes, but must turn off my brain with the plot. i'll let me surprise.
But I thought the introduction of G 2014 was the best.
KSI is a bit difficult to rate when you consider that there are 12 kong films, 10 of which have the same plot.
KOTM is one thing! the monsters and refresh of the old Toho themes are great but the characters and story, editing are bad.
I believe they had a great chance to create a great monsterverse, but in the end only partially succeeded.
although i think KOTM could be rescued, but that's my personal opinion.

oof.
When does it come out in Europe?

@sonictiger
unfortunately we don't know. but the Blue Ray is announced for july.
here the mistake was made to make a decent deal. i have the impression that legendar & warner have no interest to make money in europe. i say it commercially: we have sky, sky ticket or amazon prime. the people sit at home and are also quite willing to pay for it. also here, chance missed!
i think it's an impertinence of both studios if you take a look at the website of https://www.monarchsciences.net.
no updates, who is in the cast ... something like this belongs in my opinion maintained, the people look very well on the websites.
