It has a lot of great moments and the monster scenes are really entertaining, but the story and human characters do have a lot of issues and the movie kind of suffers from having too many things happening at once. Still, I really enjoy the movie and a 6 is a pretty decent score.

I've gone back and forth on giving it either a 7 or a 6 in the past (both scores are pretty solid)
As far as rounding up or down, I guess it depends on how much you enjoy it.
