Many haven't seen Ultima in action yet, but let's go off what we know. Who is your favorite Reiwa Era Japanese Godzilla Series? (Final forms only.)
Shin
Earth
Ultima

From what I’ve seen of singular point, I love it!! It’s amazing. It reminds me somewhat of the showa era.
And It’s just super cool!

Haven't seen Singular Point yet, so I can't come to any conclusion on Ultima. I really did not like the Polygon trilogy. So I guess Shin gets my vote (for now).

Just because you didn’t like the Goji anime doesn’t mean SP will be bad

wait, godzilla s.p. is part of the reiwa series?

Earth is awesome looking

If you saw the movies he’s in, i’m pretty sure you wouldn’t like them.

i've been waiting to talk about this!
Earth, to me, doesn't look very aggressive (he is though)
but to me he looks more like a kind wise old man (i think its the beard+his eyes and his perpetual smile)
i dunno. also, he looks big. Godzilla Filius is not very big. its just jarring.

Shin to me looks very scary, and SP Goji has an awful teeth design.

But SP's final form is the best.

I mean you probably won’t like the films. They’re basically people talking for 1 hr and 45 minutes and and 15 minutes of Godzilla being peppered with bullets.

But I will say these films had amazing concepts and they get Godzilla right

MORE THAN THE MONSTERVERSE?
But Ghidorah has the best Reiwa design..

and it’s execution was terrible. I really like the anime, but the execution is terrible. Having Three noodles come from space and bite Godzilla isn’t entertaining. If you watched those films I really don’t think you’d like them.

they’re on netflix,
Planet of the Monsters, City of the Edge of Battle, The planet eater
Thats the order

SPOILERS FOR SINGILAR POINT!
GODZILLA ULTIMA IS IN EP 10!!

HOW DO YOU KNOW IT'S NOT OUT IN THE USA YET

One word:
Youtube

Oh yeah nevermind

SarcasticGoji,
Hell of an episode too...

I thought shin godzilla was really unique, and I wish we got more "unsettling" depictions of godzilla in the past, because they somehow made a scary movie not with jumpscares or fear, but just by showing how disgustingly gross and cruel the creature was.

that’s body horror

Shin Godzilla never seemed scary to me, then Again, I really like scary movies

so i’m desensitized

I’m alone in the Godzilla Ultima choice I guess

"videodrome godzilla"
Heh.

Exactly, the anime trilogy manage to do something I never thought was possible, make a confrontation between Godzilla and Ghidorah boring. Seriously, I've never seen a kaiju fight try so hard to be that uninteresting, every time something potentially cool started to happen the movie basically said "screw it, that's to much work" and bailed on the idea. People can say what they want about King of the Monsters (I love that movie, but I will admit that it had a lot of problems), at least that movie gave us some worthwhile fights between Godzilla and Ghidorah, heck, the brief confrontation between Godzilla and the giant condor in Ebirah: Horror of the Deep! was more of a fight than the one that they had in The Planet Eater. You want to see the fight from The Planet Eater? just look at the poster, that's pretty much the entire thing. The fact that they built up that "fight" for three movies, only to give us one of the laziest battle in Godzilla history is kind of insulting. And don't get me started on the fact that they heavily marketed Mechagodzilla for City on the Edge of Battle, only for him NOT to show up in that film (him turning into a useless city doesn't count).
